Synopsis

The textbook contains general information about the transport system of Ukraine and the world as a whole, and also shows the connection of all types of transport with each other, which forms a single transport system. Technical and economic characteristics of the main types of transport, main advantages and disadvantages, schemes and comparison of types of transport are given. The main principles of the organization of the transport process, modern trends in the development of transport and the transport network as a whole, scientific problems and ways to solve them are considered. The textbook is intended for mastering the educational discipline "General course of transport" from the specialty from specialty 073 "Management".
